I just finished building a basic plant stand last night. This is the first time I’ve used a router on any woodworking, and it seemed much easier to cut the slots out that way than to do it with a jigsaw. With that said, I should probably make it clear that a) I’m not particularly good at using a jigsaw and b) I’m no superstar with a router either.

One major issue I ran into was not being able to properly clamp enough parts when I glued it together. Maybe I could have split up the gluing process into even smaller parts so I could always rotate the stand in some way to get a clamp on each joint.
